Alyssa Valdez is a Filipina celebrity volleyball player, model and product endorser. She is a multi-awarded athlete and is considered to be one of the best collegiate volleyball players in the Philippines today. She is a full-time student at the Ateneo de Manila University taking up AB Psychology and a member of the student council. Alyssa was born on June 29, 1993 in San Juan, Batangas, Philippines. Nicknamed "Bagyong Baldo" (Baldo is a slang of her family name Valdez),she is the captain of Ateneo women's varsity volleyball team, leading her team to this year's emotional, come-from-behind, championship "heart-strong" victory of the UAAP. She was awarded "Best Scorer", "Best Server", and MVP (Most Valuable Player) to name a few, adding to her long list of awards in her career. During her high school days, Alyssa played for University of Santo Tomas High School where she led her team to many victories, as well. Due to her popularity, she is now one of the most sought-after product endorser in the country today.
